School time is starting soon for my kids.
School for my kids means early rides for me.
I have been waking up fairly early in the morning during the summer months. My kids are out of school and I do not need to wake up at 6AM for any reason other than making sure to get them ready for school so I don't set an alarm to wake up that early. Still I have been waking up with out an alarm clock at 6:30 and get on my bike by 7AM. I will say I have not been an early riser for years but after the CPAP and getting into a rutine of cycling and getting kids ready for school I wake up early ready to go. Anyway I am excited for the summer to be over as it means I will be out of my house and on my bike at 6:30 instead of 7AM giving me more time to ride. I was able to get out there early today and it was very foggy out making my normal ride prettier. I only stopped for one photo today because I had to get back home quickly but I can not wait for a few more early morning rides where it is foggy and cool enough out that I am not dripping in sweat when I get back home.
With more time for riding in the morning I got to thinking where can I take my journey and how can I show more of it instead of just screenshots of progress and a few pictures here and there. I still do not have a good idea on this but I will have plenty of time on these rides to at least take more photos. I was for a while debating on doing a bit of video as well but I fear the videos would be hard to watch and boring after a very short while. I mostly stay on the same paths and my bikes do not need a lot of repair work to them so its not like I would be explaining things like that. That being said I still like the idea of doing video even if they are boring and no one watches them.
Other Progress made.
One of the things I have been thinking about was I have not taken a body comparison photo in a while. I have not even thought about it until this mornings ride. I have hit a major wall in my weight but my body feels slimmer. Its a weird thing to try to explain so the best way I can put it is my clothing is all loose again even though the mirror and the scale show me that I have not changed in the past few months. With all the dieting and cycling I have been doing I am starting to feel like the weight I am at is the weight I will be at for a long while and that is okay. The only real way to feel like I have progress now might be to do the photo comparison and see how I looked start of the jorney the last photo and now. So I think I will be getting that done soon and keep doing them so that I can see the transformations over time.
